Kenneth Gaugler

Kenneth F Gaugler (Kenn) was called home by our Lord & Savior at the age of 72, on Monday May 10, 2021. Kenn was born October 11, 1948, in Quakertown, PA to Walter and Henrietta Gaugler and was the youngest of four children. Kenn graduated from Southern Lehigh High school and studied as a Music Education major at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. Kenn went on to proudly serve in the United States Navy earning an honorable discharge in 1974. Following his military service Kenn worked in many fields before finally settling on a career in the field of transportation. Kenn worked as a "Professional Transportation Engineer" (his self-proclaimed title) for Alan Ritchey, Inc for 37 years, he was set to retire in June 2021. Kenn was a gifted musician and was well known for his musical talent, especially in playing the trumpet and cornet. He also, in his younger days, enjoyed BMX riding and racing, earning several awards over the years. Kenn enjoyed being outdoors, he loved to be on or near the ocean and he loved fishing. He loved spending time with family and friends, he enjoyed playing cards and talking on the phone, for hours, to help pass the time as he traveled his many miles. Kenn was very dedicated to his religious and spiritual beliefs and loved his church and spiritual family very much. Kenn is survived by his daughter Stacey Scanlon and her husband Chris (Las Cruces, NM), his son Jeremy Gaugler and wife Michelle (Madison, IA), his brother Robert Gaugler, wife Marie (Pennsylvania), 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews. Kenn was preceded in death by his loving wife of 18 years, Martha V Gaugler, April 29, 2021. His parents Walter and Henrietta Gaugler, his sister Karen Voda and her husband Charles, his brother Walter (Terri) Gaugler and his granddaughter Kirstin Gaugler. Kenn was a Loving Husband, Father, Son, Grandpa, Uncle and Friend, He was a strong and prideful man who always tried to love his neighbor, follow his faith and Live by the word of God. Kenn will be greatly missed by all that were blessed enough to know and Love him. Memorial service will be held Saturday June 12, 2021 @ 10:00 am, at Christ our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2500 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, Tx 79936. In Lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Kenn's honor to Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Interment Location
