Ken R. Martin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished husband, father, brother, uncle, son-in-law and friend. Ken Martin entered eternal life on January 28, 2008 at 6:40 pm. Ken was born in Brownfield, Texas, June 10, 1946, and spent the next forty years in West Texas during which time he pursued his electrical career and served a short time in the army. He moved to Las Cruces, NM in 1986 and became part of the RT Electric family. Ken was a hard worker and gave everything he did everything he had. Ken is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Bertie Martin and his brother Roland Martin. He is survived by his wife, Maurine and daughter, Kenisha of Las Cruces; his brothers: Freddie Lee, Denny, Bill, and Bob Martin, his sister-in-law Pat Collins, and extended family all of West Texas. Ken will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all. A Celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2008 from 4:30-7 pm at Getz Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Cancer Research Foundation, Morning Star United Methodist Church building fund, or a charity of your choosing.
