Keith G. Stoddard

Las Cruces - Keith Glen Stoddard, 77, died peacefully in the comfort of his home on the morning of March 6, 2025, with his loving family at his side. Born in Cambridge N.Y. on the night of April 14, 1947, son of the late Glen and Loretta Engwer Stoddard of South Glens Falls, NY.

In addition to his parents, Keith was predeceased by his son, Brian Cherry, his daughter, Krista Cherry, and his sister, Kathie (Paul Macey) Stoddard. Those who continue to share his legacy include his partner of 28 years, Nancy Farrell, daughter, Grace (Brian Gorton),Farrell, son, Marcus Tanner, and brother, Kim Stoddard, as well as his grandchildren, Fiona, James, Griffin, and Aubrey. He will also be fondly remembered by many coworkers, friends, neighbors and extended family.

Keith had a successful career as a computer consultant, working on mainframe computers across the country, living in 19 different states. After his computer retirement he owned and operated a motel in Pulaski, NY, selling and retiring in full in 2011. In 2023, wanting to get out of the snow, Keith and Nancy moved to Las Cruces to their dream home overlooking the Organ Mountains.

Keith was active in many community non-profits, but he was most proud of his work with the Pulaski Community Cupboard (food pantry). Keith was a dedicated partner and father, and always your biggest fan. He had a fabulous sense of humor and quick wit which he enjoyed sharing over a dark beer and a game of pool. He will be missed greatly.

At Keith’s request there will be no formal calling hours or service.
