Keith Duke Miller Jr., 59, passed away from this life on May 22, 2022, in Las Cruces, New Mexico surrounded by his wife and children. Keith was born at Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Robbie and Keith Duke Miller Sr., on August 30, 1962. Keith grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He proudly served our country as a military police officer, sergeant in the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. After an honorable discharge Keith moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and joined the Albuquerque Police Department. He also served as a consultant for the United States Government and trained police recruits in many countries all over the world. Keith began his career in corrections as a recruit instructor. He quickly promoted within the ranks and finished his career as a Deputy Warden for the New Mexico Southern Correctional Facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico. From cradle to grave with those big beautiful blue eyes Keith possessed a larger-than-life dynamic personality. His sense of humor was matched by none. People from all walks of life gravitated towards his fun-loving spirit and he was the life of the party everywhere he went. He was a loving, kind, gentle soul who enjoyed and appreciated the good things in life. He had a special affection for everyone in his family especially for his beloved wife and daughters. Keith gave love in his life and in turn he was loved dearly. Keith will be missed more than words can convey. Keith was predeceased by his parents Robbie and Keith Duke Miller Sr., grandparents Charles (Papa) and Mary Miller (Gigi). He is survived by his loving wife Linda, cherished daughters Mariah Miller and Kelsey Vigil (Johnny), siblings; sister Kelly Miller, brothers Charles (Gab) Miller, Kevin (Pam) Miller and Marty Martin, grandchildren; Syla, Leon, Christopher, Penelope, Zakariah James Duke, Mikaela and Ezekiel, stepchildren; Ben Barnett (Jeni), Erin Roy (Starson), Chris Frye, and Michael Frye (Marissa) as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews. "Let no man thirst for lack of good whiskey!" Cheers to you Keith for a life well-lived! Until we meet again. A memorial service will take place on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church located at 4201 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., Las Cruces, NM. Gathering to follow in the foyer of the church.
