Keith A. Walker passed away early in the morning on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Although he was heartbroken at leaving his beloved family and friends, he was consoled in knowing that he would be joining his Mother in heaven. Keith was born on July 15, 1961 and was 54 years old on the date of his passing. He was born in Walnut Creek, California and lived in northern California until 1978 when he moved with his family to Las Cruces, New Mexico. Keith graduated from Mayfield High School in 1979 and attended New Mexico State University. He owned and operated Tacom Printing for 30 years. Keith was passionate about skiing - both snow and water. He spent much of his winters travelling throughout Colorado and New Mexico enjoying the mountains. He also loved off-roading in his Jeep, camping, white water rafting, and racing his Miata car. Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Walker, who passed away on April 11, 2012. He is survived by his father, Marvin Walker; his wife of 17 years, Stephanie Walker; and two children - Janine and Brian Walker. (Sadly, he will miss Janine's graduation from New Mexico State University in four weeks.) He also leaves behind two sisters, Laura Taft and Suzanne Mechaney; a brother, Mark Walker; nine nephews and nieces, Tina and Naomi Wildman, Jennifer Brown, Katy Marshall, Heather, Elijah and Rylee Stout, Madeline and Rebecca Walker; and two aunts, Marge Jones and Linda Monroe. A private memorial celebration is planned for Keith's family and close friends. Rest in peace, Keith; we love you. PDF Printable Version
