Kathy M Estrada

Kathy Medran Estrada, beloved mother, daughter, and friend was called home to heaven on Wednesday March 21, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born to Alicia and Joe Medran on June 13, 1962. Kathy worked hard as a caregiver and mentor for many years. She always made time to listen and give advice to anyone. Even through her tough times, Kathy would always ask if you were doing well and give her advice. Kathy welcomed anyone who came to her and encouraged then to do better for themselves. She referred to everyone she loved as her brother, sister and family member. She will always be remembered for her strong faith and helping others. Kathy is survived by her mother, Alicia Medran of Las Cruces, NM, three sons, Joseph Medran of Manhattan, New York , D.J. Hunting, and Julian Hunting both of Las Cruces, NM, sister, Rose Medran Sierra and nephew Anthony Sierra of Las Cruces, NM, uncle and aunts, Margie Martinez(Manuel) of Hurley, NM, Mary Ester Marini, of Bayard, NM; Tony Medran(Peggy) of Silver City, NM; Louie Medran (Cruz) of Tucson, NM; Anita Morones (Arturo)of Silver City, NM; and her special dog Sandie Pecan. A memorial service will be celebrated on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 6pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Kathy will be laid to rest alongside the gravesite of her father and brother by her request at a later date. PDF Printable Version
