Juan Pablo Roman

Juan Pablo Roman, 55 years old of Las Cruces, NM died Sunday, May 14, 2006 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center. He was born March 22, 1951 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Jesus and Elvira Roman. A longtime area resident he was a laborer in the construction industry here in Las Cruces and surrounding areas. Juan had assisted in the construction of many buildings and schools, including the local hospitals and NMSU. Juan was a member of the Laborers Union # 16 and also a member of Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Maria; four sons, Jesus Roman of Las Cruces, NM; Juan Pablo Quezada of Oxnard, CA; Juan Francisco Roman of Las Cruces, NM; and David Roman of Las Cruces, NM. Two daughters, Diedlinda Rodriguez of Las Cruces, NM and Jovita Roman of Las Cruces, NM. His parents, Jesus and Elvira Roman of Las Cruces, NM. Also surviving Juan is one brother Reyes Roman of Las Cruces, NM; four sisters, Maria Mendoza, Eva Sanchez, Elvira Roman and Carmen Sanchez all of Las Cruces, NM; and two grandchildren, Rosalinda Roman and Juan Pablo Quezada Jr. A visitation for Juan will be from 5 to 6 PM on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at Getz Funeral Home. The Prayer Vigil will follow at 7 PM at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 2 PM on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church with the Rite of Committal and burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Andres Alva. Serving, as pallbearers will be Jesus Roman, Juan Pablo Quezada, Juan Francisco Roman, David Roman, Reyes Garcia, and Juan B. Garcia. PDF Printable Version
