Juan D. Bazan

Juan D. Bazan a resident of Las Cruces, New Mexico passed away Friday March 3, 2017 at his home. Juan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and Uncle. He was born December 11, 1938 to Lorenzo Bazan and Manuela Dominguez of Corpus Christi, Texas. Juan proudly served the Las Cruces Public Schools for 36 years. He took pride in taking care of the Schools he worked for, and was loved and adored by teachers and students alike. He also enjoyed playing Fastpitch Softball with his friends. He loved painting, fishing with his buddy Chilino Garcia. Juan was a humble man that was always ready to help, he had a special place in his heart for those in need. He cared about everyone and always had open arms. His kindness will forever be missed and always remembered. Juan was preceded in death by his son Paul D. Bazan, his parents, four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Irene A. Bazan of the family home. He also leaves behind his children, John L. Bazan and Wife Ana Bazan, Veronica L. Gonzalez and Husband Carlos A. Gonzalez, his Grandchildren Carlos A. Gonzalez Jr. and Wife Amada R. Gonzalez, Jaime L. Bazan and his fianc Melissa Jimenez, Angelica M. Gonzalez and Companion Sage Dolan, Steven P. Bazan, Avelardo J. Gonzalez and Wife Leah Gonzalez, Celina Gonzalez. His Great-grandchildren Serenitii Dolan, Izac Gonzalez, Skye Dolan, David Gonzalez. A rosary will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 9, 2017 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church, funeral mass to immediately follow at 2:30 P.M. PDF Printable Version Service Information
