Juadean E. Beasley

Juadean E. Beasley, 71 of Las Cruces died Monday August 27, 2007 at La Posada Mesilla Valley Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 17, 1936 in the Texas Panhandle. She was raised in Hatch, NM and finished her schooling in Las Cruces where she graduated from Las Cruces Union High School. She continued her education and attended Texas Western University where she was a "Gold Digger" cheerleader. She later met, fell in love with and married the love of her life Jim S. Beasley on September 3, 1955. She is a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, the Tuesday Lunch Brunch, and as a homemaker Juadean enjoyed cooking, canning, square dancing, gardening, fishing, and chili cook-offs. Her chicken collection was unsurpassed by anyone (eggsolent by way of hundreds of every size, shape, and form). Juadean will be truly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her two sons, Jimmy and wife Martha, and Joe Beasley all of Las Cruces, NM; granddaughters, Tiffany Beasley of Albuquerque, NM; and Dabney and husband Ben Koren and great-granddaughter Aubrey of Crestview, FL. Juadean is also survived by her brother, Dr. Reuel D. Estes and wife Karen; nephews Robbie Estes and Randy Estes of Arroyo Grande, CA. A visitation will be held from 4:30 to 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, August 31, 2007 at Masonic Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Jim Wood. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice where she was lovingly taken care of by administration and staff her last days.
