Josefina M 'Chepa' Franco

Josefina "Chepa" Marquez Franco , 80 of Las Cruces, died on Thursday October 22, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born April 20, 1940 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose Rosario Marquez and Socorro Martinez Marquez. In 1965 She married Jose Elias Franco in Juarez, Mexico. She was employed by Wal-Mart for over 20 years. Josefina is survived by her husband Jose Elias Franco, Children: Jesus Jose Franco wife Sandra Franco, Concepcion Franco, Socorro Irene Morales husband Raymundo Morales, Jose Elias Franco, Gabriel Franco wife Dahlia Franco. Brothers/sisters Jose Rosario Marquez, Carmela Marquez Padron, Manuel Marquez, Maria De La Cruz Marquez Vielmas. Also surviving her are 15 Grandchildren, and 11 Greatgrandchildren She is preceded in death by her brother Jose Rosario Marquez, sister Maria De La Cruz Marquez Vielmas, Grandchildren Gabriel Franco Jr, Daniel Ray Franco. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 5pm in the Getz Funeral Home Chapel, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7pm. The Funeral Liturgy is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. First Visitation
