Jose Taitano Guerrero, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, peacefully ascended to eternal rest on February 10, 2025, at the remarkable age of 83, leaving behind a legacy of love, care, and selflessness.
He was a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who knew him, always willing to lend a helping hand. His 30-year dedication to serving his country in the U.S. Navy was a testament to his unwavering patriotism and commitment to a higher purpose.
Jose was preceded in death by his parents Cesario and Isabel Guerrero, his brother John Taitano, his sister Rosario Hiura, and his first wife Joyce Guerrero.
He is survived by his second wife Ann Marie Guerrero, his son Cesario (Sandy) Guerrero and wife Cindy, his son Joseph Guerrero, his daughter Casandra Guerrero and her wife Amy. His memory will live on through his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jose will be interred with military honors at Las Cruces cemetery at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church, a fitting tribute to his remarkable life.
