It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the death of our brother Jose Santiago Gonzalez, 60, who passed away peacefully January 2, 2025. He was born on June 16, 1964, to Carmen and Carlos Gonzalez of Las Cruces, NM. Jose was the youngest of six.
Joseph, as he was fondly known by his family and friends, loved to cook and try out new recipes that would always be filled with love and warmth, because it always came from his heart. He worked in the construction and maintenance fields and really enjoyed carpentry, he would build tables and fix anything you need done in the house. With his passion for working with his hands and his giving heart you always knew whatever you would receive, it was given with hard work and love.
He may not have had much, but he always did his best to support and love with what he did have. He kept his faith strong and fought hard every day. Even when things did not go his way he always got back up and tried to do better.
