Johnny Leroy Etie Jr.

The family of Johnny L. Etie Jr. of Las Cruces, NM is saddened to announce his passing on June 15th, 2021, at the age of 62. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Billie Etie, of 27 years of marriage, his children Brianna Etie, Dillon Etie, and Crystal Guillen. He was a proud grandfather of 9 beautiful grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his sisters Kathy, Janet, Debbie, Trudy, Tonya, Sissy, and brothers Burl Jr, Damon, Michael, and Daniel. Johnny will be missed by many relatives and friends. Johnny was an auto mechanic for 40+ years and worked at many different shops. Johnny was preceded in death by his loving mother Ollie Slone, and Sister Kathy Etie. A Public Viewing will be held at Getz Funeral Home on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 5-6. Prayer services will be held at Las Cruces First Church on Tuesday, June 22nd at 2pm. followed by a burial services at Masonic Cemetery. First Visitation
