John Ellingsworth

John Warren Ellingsworth (71), passed away on November 3, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Warren and Helen Ellingsworth November 17, 1949. John Married Martha Alvarez on August 30, 1973, in Lordsburg, NM they were happily married for 48 years. John was drafted by the United States Army in 1967 and served in Vietnam. He worked for Phelps Dodge for 25 years.

"Hey Buddy" was always a happy person and never met a stranger. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He will be remembered as a generous, humble, kind, and funny man, who put everyone else before himself.

He is preceded in death by his parent Warren and Helen Ellingsworth. His siblings: Edward (Buzz), Helen (Toots), Evelyn (Evie), and Richard (Dick). Granddaughter Lauren and Grandson Tristen. His precious girl Chelsea.

He is survived by his wife Martha, five children Mary (Bud), Robert (Diana), Charlette (David), Johnson, and Sue Ellen. Grandchildren Ryan, David, Ryann, John Robert, Zach, Savannah, Levi, Evelyn, and Lily, Edwaard, Bridget, Avelyn, and Jeremiah. His Brothers James and Warren (Obie). His Pets Max, Olivia, Dolly, and Loreta.

The memorial service will be held on November 13, 2021, at 9:30 AM at Getz Funeral Home.
