Joel Francisco Dominguez

Joel Francisco Dominguez, 25, of Las Cruces, NM died Friday February 5, 2010. He was born July 29, 1984 in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico to Jose Francisco and Irma R. Dominguez. He was a longtime resident of Las Cruces, NM. Joel served his Country honorably in the US Army and was currently in the US National Guard with orders to be activated in the middle of this month. You loved the outdoors, your friends and family. What ever you set your mind to do, you did it with all your might. You were so smart and full of common sense. You were bold enough to defend and stand for what was right. You had a unique sense of humor, how I loved to hear your laugh. I thank God he allowed us to enjoy you for these short 25 years. You were tough yet tender hearted. Thank you for being so giving, so strong, and so loving. We will miss "Chapito". He is survived by his parents Francisco and Irma Dominguez; brothers, Nehemias Dominguez, and Israel Dominguez; sister in-law Rosana Morales and nieces and nephew Abby, Angel, Melissa, Desire and Israel Jr. He is also survived by many Aunts and Uncles and friends and family. A visitation will be held Wednesday February 10, 2010 from 5-7 PM at Getz Funeral Home. A prayer service will follow at Getz Funeral Home at 7 PM the same evening. Funeral services will be held 10 AM on Thursday February 11, 2010 at the Potters House Christian Center. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest memorial Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Jim Ballinger. All funeral services will be held together with Joel's good friend Eduardo "Lalo" Gonzalez-Ramirez. PDF Printable Version
