Jenny Reyes

Jenny Melissa Reyes (Sanchez) 51, of Las Cruces, has gained her angel wings surrounded by her two children and family on May 29,2024. Jenny was born on March 22,1973 in Canutillo, TX to Estela and Gilbert Sanchez. Jenny loved cooking, singing and dancing. Jenny had a heart of gold anyone she knew, she would bring in as family. She will be extremely missed by all who knew her. Jenny kept everyone upbeat with her beautiful smile and laugh. Barbecuing and listening to music with her family and friends was where she was happiest. Her gorgeous personality, jokes and warm heart was what set her a part as one of a kind. Jenny is proceeded in death by her mother, Estela Sanchez and sister Denise Sanchez. Those left with heavy hearts are her daughter Veronica Reyes her twinkie as she called her and her son Angel Reyes who was her baby boy. Her father Gilbert Sanchez, sisters Regina Sanchez, Yolanda Sanchez and brother Michael Sanchez. Nephews Gilbert Sanchez, Isaac Sanchez and Daniel Benavides, nieces Stephanie Sanchez and Danielle Chavez. Her best friends Jose “Jp” Pineda, Kimberlee Trujillo, Debbie Diaz and Virginia Palacios. closest cousins; Sonia Flores, Vanessa Bustamante, Illene Bustamante and Jessica Sanchez. As well as many aunts’ uncles’ cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6-7pm on Monday June 24th,2024 at Getz Funeral Home with the rosary to follow at 7pm. Jenny’s funeral mass will be at 10am on Tuesday June 25th,2024 at Our Lady of Purification in the village of Dona Ana 5525 Cristo De Rey. Rite or Committal will follow at Dona Ana Cemetery. With a celebration of Jenny’s life to follow at the Moose Lodge 514 N Main St. 12-2pm.

Pall bearers will be Angel Reyes, Gilbert Sanchez, Isaac Sanchez, Daniel Benavides, Jose “Jp” Pineda and Jose (Jay) Reyes.
