Jeanne E. Taylor

Taylor, Jeanne E. (Skeans), age 76 of Las Cruces, NM, formerly of Omaha, Ne. Born July 9, 1939 in Norwood, MA. Died April 22, 2016 in Las Cruces, NM. Preceded in death by parents Ronald and Catherine Skeans, and her sister Joan Fralic. She lived in Canton MA until the age of 10 and moved to San Diego CA until the age of 15. After finishing her freshman year of high school she moved to Omaha, NE and graduated from Westside High School in 1957. Jeanne met her future husband Bob at Plattsmouth, NE. After dating for 6 months, they married in August 29, 1958 in Plattsmouth, NE. She had three sons Scott, Mark and Kent. She was very involved in their activities. She was the den mother for Scott and Mark's Cub Scout den and she attended all their sporting events. She was an avid tennis player and bowler. Jeanne worked for Western Electric/AT&T for 31 years and then retired with her husband Bob to Las Cruces, NM. Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Robert E. Taylor, sons Scott (Karen) Taylor and granddaughters Allyson, Jennifer, and Kristina of Lawrence, KS; Mark (Cheryl) Taylor and grandchildren Danielle, Nicholas, Makenzi, and Zachary of Overland Park, KS; Kent (Kathy) Taylor and grandchildren Kelly and Thomas of Papillion, NE, and sister-in-law Reeda Dickman of Plattsmouth, NE.
