Jared Scott Credeur

Jared Scott Credeur, 23 passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Jared was born on January 21, 1997 in Las Cruces, NM and graduated from Las Cruces High School in 2015. He then attended M.M.I. (Motorcycle Mechanics Institute) in Phoenix, AZ where he graduated at the top of his class receiving several awards. He then went on to apply his training and skills in both Las Cruces and Lafayette. Jared's passions in life were riding motorcycles, ATV's and anything with wheels and a motor. One of his most memorable attributes was he was a thrill seeker, adrenaline junkie and would take on any dare. He also enjoyed working on all types of engines and electronics. Jared was always willing to help anyone with anything at any time. He always had a smile and would light up any room he entered. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and memories of him will be cherished for a lifetime. Jared is survived by his son, Jaxon Simpson of Las Cruces, NM; his father, Michael Bryan Credeur of Lafayette, LA; his mother, Carrie Prifogle Credeur of Las Cruces, NM; his brother, Jacob Alan Credeur and wife Tiffany Janee Credeur and their daughter Audrey Credeur of Lafayette, LA; his paternal grandfather, Joseph S. Credeur; his maternal grandparents, Charles Prifogle and Louise Oswald and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Vivian G. Bourque. A viewing will begin at 9:00 am Saturday, September 12, 2020 with service at 10:00 am held at Las Cruces First Assembly of God, 5605 Bataan Memorial, Las Cruces, NM 88012 Chapel. With Pastor Dennis Diaz officiating. Services will be live streamed at www.getzcares.com.
