Jamie Elizabeth Lopez - 2/5/1980-6/29/2022 It is with great sadness that the family of Jamie Lopez announce her passing at Mesilla Valley Hospice on June 29th at the age of 42, surrounded by family and friends. Jamie was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico to James B. Harris and Lorna Harris and is the youngest of their two children. A lifelong resident of Las Cruces, she attended Las Cruces High School and graduated from New Mexico State University with a degree in Journalism. Jamie is preceded in death by her husband, Mario Lopez, and survived by her two sons, Vinny and James, daughter Selene; mother, Lorna; sister, Heather Drumm (Dustin); half-sister, Sharlene Martinez (Jim) and half-brother Buford Harris (Susan) and her partner, Matthew Castillo, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends who will miss her dearly. Cremation to take place with services to follow at a later date.
