James Evans

It is with a heavy broken heart and great sadness that we announce the passing of James Evans. 

James is survived by Sylvia his loving wife of 61 years and his 2 daughters Yvonne Aranda (Gilbert Aranda) and Yvette Evans. James had 6 grandchildren Micole Aranda, Amanda Aranda, Jennifer Romero, Erica Lopez, Gilbert Lopez and James Lopez and 10 great grandchildren. James also leaves behind his two surviving brothers Charlie Evans and Leo Evans.

 James was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and a man of God. James’ passions were fishing and music. He enjoyed casting a line just to enjoy the peacefulness of nature. James’ passion for music was in his blood. He enjoyed playing and singing with family and friends. James and Sylvia enjoyed going out to dance with friends and family. From time-to-time James would be asked to play a song or two with the band. It would make his night and bring back memories of his days back when he played with the Knightsmen. 

 James was full of life. He always wanted the best for his family. James will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

The family is honoring James request of not having any services. The family would like to thank all family members and friends for your thoughts and prayers
