Irene L. Seibert

Irene Louise Seibert went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 2nd, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Village. She was born in Allendale, IL on December 19th, 1930 to Noble and Winnie Talley. Irene had been a Las Cruces resident since August of 1965. She was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church. Irene had a terrific sense of humor and enjoyed visiting with anyone she would meet. She enjoyed bowling with other military spouses while stationed away from home. Irene's family and friends were extremely important to her. She was very compassionate and generous of her time and was always willing to lend a listening ear. She retired after working 20 years at the Chemistry Department at NMSU on the 1st of November in 1994. She was preceded in death by her Husband of 37 years MSGT (USAF) Eugene Sheldon Seibert, and her son Michael Gregory Seibert. She is survived by her grandson Timothy Noble Seibert of Las Cruces, NM, as well as her brother Rex Talley of Odessa TX, and Esther (Coulter) McIntyre of Sun City, AZ, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 7th, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Peace Lutheran Church, 1701 E. Missouri Ave., Las Cruces, NM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 5140 W. Picacho Ave, Las Cruces, NM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church of Las Cruces, or the American Cancer Society. PDF Printable Version
