In Memoriam Of Dorothy C. Myers

Our beloved Mom, Dorothy (Dee) C. Myers passed away at the age of 74, on Monday, April 4, 2016 in Las Cruces, NM after a valiant fight with cancer. Dee was born in Clifton, NJ on December 30, 1941. She married a career Army officer (Ralph Myers III) and traveled across the United States and Europe raising four daughters. She is predeceased by her parents Dot and Ellie Leonard and her father Edwin Prescott, and sisters Nancy Shepard and Carol Bowes. She is survived by her daughters Lori and Alex Baxter of Smithfield, VA; Sharon and Rick Robinson of Las Cruces, NM and children Kelcy, Evan and Sydney; Cheryl and Felipe Rodriguez of Las Cruces, NM and children Anthony and Adam; and Robyn Valles of Houston, TX and daughter Jayden. Visitation will be held at Getz Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. No services have been planned as we will be taking her home to her beloved Jersey Shore. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to La Posada Assisted Living Facility, 299 Montana, Las Cruces, NM.
