Henry Carrillo 'Hank, Dude, Popo' Salas

It is with great sadness and sorrow that our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather Henry C. Salas, passed away April 25, 2018 at Mountain View Reginal Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Henry leaves behind his loving wife Cecilia of 52yrs and his three daughters Denise Salas, Michelle Salas, and Patricia Salas-Pettes (spouse Derrick). Grandchildren: Antwionette Fielder (spouse Jason), Orlando Salas, Julian (Tiger) Salas, Kelani (Kali) Payton, Julian Fielder, Javon Fielder. Great Grandchildren, Javontay (Dude) Haynes, Jordan (Conchita) Salas. Brothers Ralph and Leah Salas, Dave and Kelly Salas, Julian Chavez, Sisters Isabel (Chavela)Golden, Darlene, Mucia Earlston, Tila Chavez, Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Henry is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Petra Chavez, his adoptive parents Ralph Salas Sr. and Elvira Carrillo Salas, Brother Rosalio Chalio Martinez, Sister Maria Shoemaker, Sister Manuela (Nellie) Maese. Henry served his country with the Army National Guard of New Mexico. He was honorably discharged September 28, 1970 Henry retired with the City of Las Cruces with 25yrs of service. He worked his way up to Superintendent of Waste Water Resources Collection System. Henry's greatest love was his oldies music, his grand kids and great grand kids; they were his pride and joy. Funeral services for Henry will be on Friday, May 4th, 2018 at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church. The prayer vigil will be held at 10:30am followed by mass at 11:00am. Interment of Cremains will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Interment Location
