Glen C. Martinez

Glen C. Martinez 48, of Las Cruces, NM was called to the arms of our heavenly father on Saturday February 11, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Nazario and Flora Martinez in Las Cruces, NM on June 19, 1963. Glen enjoyed working with his hands and was a carpenter by trade. He also enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with family and friends making them laugh. Glen's true passion in life was his grandchild, nieces and nephews, and sweets. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Anna Martinez of the family home; son Glen Joseph Martinez of Albuquerque, NM; daughter Stephanie Martinez of Las Cruces; brothers Joe Martinez of Albuquerque, NM and Donald Martinez of Youngville, NM, and by his grandson Elijah Martinez. Glen was preceded in death by his parents and Brother Kenny Martinez. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at Getz Funeral Home where funeral services to celebrate his life will follow at 7 pm with the Minister Felipe Guzman officiating.
