George Garcia Sr.

George Garcia Sr., 48 of Las Cruces, NM went to rest with the lord Saturday December 25, 2010. He was born February 21, 1962 to Ernesto and Socorro Garcia. He honorably served in the U.S. Army. George enjoyed camping, fishing and time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. George is survived by his wife, Danielle; sons, George Garcia Jr., Carlos Lakemper; daughters, Maria Socorro Garcia, Gabriela Garcia, Georgina Garcia, Jeanette Garcia, Daisy Garcia and Nichole Garcia Father Ernesto Garcia and Step Mother Carolina Garcia; sisters, Ana (Arthur), Silvia (Roger), Cecilia, Marie Cruz (Larry), Rosa (Raul), Laura, Elsa, brothers, Javier (Sylvia), Jaime (Belinda), Benito (Yvonne), Nathum and Eric, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. George was preceded in death by his loving mother Socorro Jurado-Garcia and brother Orlando Gomez. A visitation will be held Thursday December 30, 2010 at Getz Funeral Home from 5-7 PM followed by a prayer vigil at 7 PM also at the Getz Chapel. The funeral mass will given at 10 AM Friday December 31, 2010 at the San Miguel Catholic Church. The right of committal will follow at the San Miguel Cemetery. Officiating will be Fr. Martin Cordero. Pallbearers will be Javier, Jaime, Benito, George Jr., Carlos, and Samuel. PDF Printable Version
