Fred F. Butterbredt

Fred F. Butterbredt, 53, of Las Cruces, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012. He was born Aug. 25, 1959 in Hawthorne, NV, to Harry and Doris Dunn Butterbredt. Fred had been a welder most of his adult life, he enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fan of race cars, but his passion was for his family and friends who will forever love and miss him. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Christine of the family home; sons Bruce Butterbredt and girlfriend Alicia Patterson of Goodyear, AZ and Joe Baker and wife Candace of Saco, Maine; daughters Missy Williams and husband Jim and Dana Hiley-Reyes all of Las Cruces; brothers Charlie Adams and Steve Butterbredt both of Las Cruces and by sisters Kathy Garcia and husband Jim of Las Cruces and Frances Catledge of Carson City, NV. Also surviving Fred are his 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandsons, nieces, nephews, friends and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate his life are at 10 am on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 also at Getz Funeral Home with Pastor Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The honor being a pallbearer goes to Jeff Valencia, Jimmy Black, Jose "Chino" Romero, Chris Oleksiak, Hector Calderon and Pat Comeau.
