Frank "Sapito" Avalos, 55, died doing what he loved on December 31, 2016 at his home in Las Cruces, NM. He was the husband of Susie Avalos. They shared 21 years of marriage together living in New Mexico. Born in Las Cruces NM, on June 20, 1961, he was the son of Roberto and Romelia Avalos. He Graduated from Gadsden High School where many say he excelled at sports to include Baseball and Football. He worked many jobs in the construction and concrete fields until deciding to open his own business Sapito's Hauling in 2011. He will be remembered for his Big Sapito's Hauling truck which he put to work around town and surrounding areas Honking and giving a wave and smile to all who knew him. His amazing acts of generosity in both giving his time and effort to the community and countless charities and fundraisers. He was an amazing Husband, Father, Grandpa, Brother, uncle, cousin and Friend to many, that did everything in his power to ensure his family was cared for. Some of his hobbies included watching his 49ers play and betting on the Dallas Cowboys to lose, 4 Wheeling, Camping, Shooting, hunting, Traveling, Spending time with friends and loved ones, and last but not least his pride and joy was twisting the throttle on the open road on his Street Glide Special alongside family and friends. He is survived by his wife Susie Avalos, His sons Benjamin (Bengie) Avalos, Frankie (Puggy) Avalos (Kimberly), and daughters, Tiffany Rivera, Tracey Rivera, Amber Lopez, Stephanie Avalos (Mando), his grandchildren Benjamin Jr Galvez, Gavin and Farrah Avalos, Jayden Rivera, Savannah Price, Jazlyn Martinez, and Valerio Valles. Siblings include Gloria Randles (Howard), Ruben Avalos (Frances), Vivian Orozco (Ruben), Robert (Bobby) Avalos, Connie Avalos (David), Margie Reyes. He was preceded in death by his parents Roberto and Romelia Avalos, brother George (Chochi) Dominguez, Sister-in-law Mary Dominguez, Aunt Alicia (Licha) Esquivel, and Nephew Johnny Reyes. A viewing will take place at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral, on Monday January 9, 2017, at 9:30 am, with a Prayer Vigil and Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 am.
