Fernando Loya

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and

uncle Fernando (Fernie) Loya on August 11, 2022 at the age of 55. He was born March 9, 1967 in Las

Cruces, NM to Arnaldo and Rafaela Loya.

Those left to mourn him include his mother Rafaela Loya his children, Vanessa Loya, Deseree Loya and

Fernando Loya Jr, three sisters Nellie Garcia, Eloisa (Rick) Romero. Josie (Dan) Montano,

Grandchildren, Angelo, Fabien, Lilah and Josiah Loya, Nieces and Nephews Joe Garcia Jr, Jacob

Garcia, Desiree (Jack) Clafton, Andrea Ruiz, and Erica Montano. Great nieces and nephews, Devanee

Ruiz, Alianah Ruiz, Emilee Garcia, Gia Garcia, Alaric Clafton and Anika Clafton

Fernando was preceded in death by his father Arnaldo Loya, his companion Francisca Venegas and

brother-in-law Joe.

Serving as casket bearers will be Joe Garcia Jr., Jacob Garcia, Nick Jaramillo, Jose Monje, Fabian

Campos, Lawrence Nevarez.

Funeral services will be held at St. Genevieve's Church on Espina St. On Monday August 22, 2022.

Recitation of the rosary will at 10:00 am followed by the celebration of the mass. Burial to follow at St.

Josephs Cemetery.
