Eugene Carroll Johnson

Eugene C Johnson, 82, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Lordsburg NM. He was born on May 4, 1934 to Clarence and Alice Johnson, of Oklahoma. Eugene is with our Lord and reunited with his wife Jean, his father, mother, and friends. Eugene was a proud United States Navy Veteran. Eugene married Jean Ann Bargagliotti Oct 17, 1955. He is survived by 2 children, daughter Jeanna Johnson, of Las Cruces and son Fred Johnson and his wife, Cindy of Hanford, CA, 3 grandchildren, Megan Johnson, of Las Cruces, Alexis Johnson and Branden Johnson, of Bakersfield, CA. Cremation has taken place and a private service with be held at a later date. Eugene was loved dearly by all that knew him and he was a great husband, father, and friend. He enjoyed gardening, listening to music, and social activities. He was a member of the Italian Club. Eugene will be missed dearly by all.
