Edward Batoosingh Ph.D., MD. Lived from 17th February 1936 to 10th April 2019 'YOU LIVED LIFE YOUR WAY' You earned a degree in teaching, a PhD in marine biology and medical degree, specializing in family and emergency medicine. You healed many people in your lifetime. While being a doctor was your calling, fishing, playing bridge, chess and golfing were your passions. You were a curious, searching soul who loved to impart wisdom and knowledge to others. To us, you were a loving husband, a caring father and generous granddad/morfar. We will always remember you sitting in a cozy chair, smoking your pipe with a dry martini and good book at your side. We will recall your mischievous laugh, your love of bawdy jokes and penchant for debate. You were not a nostalgic person. You were nobody's fool. In all things, you decided your fate...up until the very end. For this you have our enduring respect. You are gone now. But you live on in us, in our memories and in our hearts always. Rest in peace, dear Edward, with all our love forever, Your family. At Edward's request, there will be no service. Please leave any words of farewell or remembrance on this site if you wish and any contribution in his memory can be made to the Gospel Rescue Mission of Las Cruces, New Mexico or another charity of your choosing.
