Dorris Helen Boone Russell

Doris Helen Boone Russell, 93, of Frisco, Texas went to meet our Lord on July 19, 2014. She passed away at The Medical Center, McKinney, Texas. She was born July 4th, 1921 in Higden, Arkansas, to James and Aimie Boone. She was the oldest of five children. After graduation she went to work for the Army Air Corp, where she met Sgt. Chester (Chet) Lee Russell, who would become the love of her life. She and Chet were married for 62 years until Chet's death in 2007, however, her devotion continued until her death. Doris was involved with many service and volunteer organizations. She was appointed by the New Mexico Congress of the Parent Teacher Association as a lifetime member recipient; she was also a lifetime member of the service sorority
