Dorothy "Jane" Quirico 79 left this life on December 22, 2015 to take her place with the other angels. Born May 16, 1936 in Pueblo CO. She began her next adventure peacefully from home with loved ones close by, following her battle with Alzheimer's. Jane was a former Miss Pueblo in 1957 and second runner-up Miss Colorado. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Pueblo Junior College. Jane was a successful restaurateur, owning and running Headquarters Restaurant in Pueblo before moving to Las Cruces and becoming a very successful real estate agent with multiple years as a Multi-Million dollars agent. She enjoyed travelling and sightseeing, visiting many places in the US with her husband and, occasionally, grand kids in tow. She also visited Italy and Australia. Jane was also a member of the New Mexico Vintage Iron club and enjoyed the comradery and friends from there. She is survived by her brother Delvin "Butch" (Wilma) Harbour of Millersburg Missouri, children Casey (Celeste) Smith of Fayetteville NC, Sherry Smith, Danny (Bobbi) Quirico Las Cruces and Becky Quirico Pueblo CO. She is also survived by grandchildren David and Patrick Smith, Amber (Clay) Corf, Larry, Jessica and Joseph Quirico and 4 great grandchildren Nikolai and Nathaniel Corf, and Colton and Natalie Quirico, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Also survived by special friends Fred Horner, Lori Lill, Gene and Val Killam, Doug and Jan Killam and Shorty and Kathy Duffy. She was proceeded in death by her parents Delmer and Dorothy Harbour, and husband Daniel. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday January 15, 2016, at Getz Funeral Home.
