Doris P. Coleman Denham

Doris passed from this worldly plane, May 31, 2009. She was born February 12, 1934, she was 75. She was a long time member of the bowling community here in Las Cruces, and was active in many organizations and clubs in the area. Doris is survived by her husband of 55 years, T. Mike Denham, her beloved children, Sandy and his wife Becky of Haltom City, TX; Sid of San Marcos, CA; Becka of Fort Worth TX. Her grandchildren, Samantha Denham Hatchett and husband Cole of Ft. Worth, TX; Lacy Denham, Jenna Denham and Kadie Denham all of Haltom City, TX, and Austin Denham of San Marcos, CA. Also surviving her are sisters, Roz Searle and husband Bill of San Leon, TX; Dani McDonald and husband Larry of Hempstead, TX. Brothers, Loyd Coleman and wife Mona of Washington; Boyd Coleman and wife Sue of Vado, NM; Ron Ivey and wife Barbara of Graham, TX. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl; her father Arnold; a sister, Mary; and brothers, Buster, Don and Gary. Doris is also survived by a sister in law, Marge Coleman, and numerous nieces and nephews scattered throughout the country and friends so numerous to count. Doris was born in Marlow, OK, but spent most of her life in Las Cruces; this was truly the place that held her heart. She will be missed and remembered forever in our hearts. At her request cremation will take place and her ashes will be interred in El Paso, TX. A memorial wake will be held at a later date.
