Dora W. Mancha

Dora W. Mancha, 72, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006. She was born Feb. 26, 1934 in Las Cruces to Manuel and Francisca Wilson. Dora loved to go to church with her daughter, going out for drives, listening to music, but her passion was going to the casinos. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband Felix Mancha of Las Cruces; sons John Rivera and wife Jean of Las Cruces and Rudi Rivera of Albuquerque, NM; daughters Ann Marie Guerrero and husband Jose of Las Cruces, Dora Wilson of Mesa, AZ and Mary Gonzalez and husband Johnnie of Berino, NM; brother Eddie Wilson and wife Angela of Dona Ana, NM; sister Connie Tellez of Las Cruces. Dora is also survived by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins and by her very special friend and caretaker Christina Rivera. She was preceded in death by brothers Arturo and Manuel and sisters Lencha, Esther and Cruz. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006 at Getz Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass is at 10:00 AM on Monday, Sept. 18, 2006 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Moreno officiating. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Perez, Jose and Ann Marie Guerrero, John, Rudi, Candi, Renee, Evelyn, and Roman Rivera, Felix and Dora Mancha, Cynthia, Ricky and Ray Gonzalez and Angel Wilson.
