Donna Olivas

Donna Olivas, 25 years old of Las Cruces entered eternal life on Wednesday, November 23, 2005. Donna was born on April 21, 1980 in T or C, New Mexico to Lorenzo Olivas and Herminia Cuevas. Donna was a loving and devoted mother of three, daughter, sister cousin and friend. Her pass times were cooking traditional Mexican food and trying new recipes. Donna enjoyed writing poems and spending time with her family, especially her children, Nadia, Martha, and Yulissa. Donna will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Donna will always be in our hearts. Besides her three children, Donna is survived by her parents, Lorenzo Olivas of Denver, CO; her mother, Herminia Cuevas of Las Cruces, NM; three brothers, Rudy Rivera of Albuquerque, NM; Victor Cuevas of Las Cruces, NM and Bobby Carraza of Las Cruces, NM. One sister, Luz Moreno of Las Cruces, NM. Also surviving her is her maternal grandmother, Soledad Cuevas of Hatch, NM, many aunt's uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughters, baby Monique and Dominique Olivas, grandfather Enrique Cuevas, aunts, Teresa Gonzalez, and Martha Garcia, and uncle Enrique Cuevas. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, November 28, 2005 at Getz Funeral H home. The Funeral Services will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Roberto Serrano. Serving, as pallbearers will be Rudy Rivera, Victor Cuevas, Javier Cuevas, Bobby Carraza, Edward Tijerina, Rafael Gonzalez, Gerardo Cardenas and Aaron Banuelos. PDF Printable Version
