Dolores Florence Demuro

Dolores Demuro passed away Monday July 10, 2024 at Sunny’s Living home for Seniors in Canutillo, Texas after a visit with her son Mark. Maria Valadez and her staff provided loving care and support with dinners, parties and companionship. 

Dolores was born January 17 1932 in Bethlehem, Pa. Her natural mother Caroline Herrera, passed away in childbirth. Her father, Mathew Marino couldn’t take care of an infant & work caring for her siblings Paul & Ruth Marino. Dolores was adopted by Wilma L. and Stanley O Zweifel.

Dolores was married to Ralph John Simone who was an Army veteran and tree surgeon. He was 41 when he passed away. They had two children Willa Simone & Mark Simone. 

Dolores & Ralph operated the Tiffany Outlet Store, which had antiques and collectibles. She was an avid collector of Artwork, antiques and rare first edition signed books. She had a knack of finding treasures in thrift stores. 

In 2002 Dolores remarried Generosa Demuro who had several children Gene John, Maureen, Anna Marie, Joseph Perry, making quite a blended family. Dolores has three grandchildren from daughter Willa, Jeffrey Armstrong, Corey Harding & Alexandre Stone and husband Chris.

One of her favorite pastimes was meeting her friends and comrades at the swimming pool. We had such fun. Her favorites were Rudy, Wiley, Joan. Raymond, Derrickson, Mark Suri, Edie & Rebecca.
