Dolores Brusuelas Sainz

Dolores Brusuelas Sainz, of Tularosa New Mexico, at 86 years of age, passed away on November 19, 2021. She was born in Tularosa, NM on September 28, 1935 to the late Jose Brusuelas and Venancia Davalos Brusuelas. She was the last surviving child of their nine children. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Sam Brusuelas, Fidel Brusuelas, James Brusuelas, Pete Brusuelas, Nick Brusuelas, Carmen Brusuelas Sanchez, Ramon Brusuelas, and Paul Brusuelas. She married the late Anotonio Moya Sainz, the love of her life, on November 22, 1952. They lived and raised their family in Tularosa, NM. She attained her GED, and lived her life as a homemaker, caregiver and secretary. She was an active member of the St. Francis De Paula Church, and a member of the VFW. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her loved ones. Seeing those she loved was her greatest source of enjoyment. She was preceded in death by her oldest son Joseph Sainz and her daughter in law Gloria Sainz. She is survived by her remaining 5 boys: Robert Sainz, Richard Sainz (Donna), Gilbert Sainz (Naomi), Jimmy Sainz, and Andrew Sainz (Laura). She is survived by her 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two beloved sister in laws Nina Brusuelas and Rose Sainz Corday. Also, survived by numerous nephews and nieces. Pallbearers are Ray Sainz, Robert Anthony Sainz, Garrett Sainz, James Sainz, Jacob Sainz, Levi Sainz, Haythem (CJ) Yousif. Honorary Pallbearers are Cynthia Provencio, Connie Sainz Meyers, Glydia Sainz, Sarah Sainz Baca, Melanie Sainz, and Brian Sainz. Services to honor Dolores and the life she lived will be held on November 30, 2021 at St. Francis De Paula Church in Tularosa, NM. Public Viewing will start at 9:30, Rosary 10:30 followed by her funeral service. Father Marcel Okonkwo will officiate the services. She will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery of Tularosa. Reception to follow at the Parish Hall. First Visitation
