Denise Sanchez

Denise Leah Sanchez, 45, entered eternal life Wednesday April 12, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Denise was born June 25, 1977, in Las Cruces to Gilbert and Estela Sanchez and was the youngest of 4 siblings. Denise, or Shorty as she will be fondly remembered by her closest friends and family was a die-hard Cowboy fan. She loved her football and her Troy Aikman. Her smile and her love for her family was unconditional and infectious. Always dancing, singing, or cooking, Denise lived her life to the fullest! Country Cruising and going to the lake was where she found peace. Her bouncy personality and crazy, witty sense of humor was none like no other. Always willing to lend a hand and never complained about doing so. Her favorite hobby though was spending time with her loved ones. Especially her nieces and nephews she called her, Mijas and Mijos. But her movie nights and any time spent with her son Daniel was by far her most loved moments, as she referred to him as her favorite accomplishment. She loved her son Daniel. Denise is proceeded in death by her mother, Estela Sanchez and those left to mourn are her companion Danny Benavidez and their son Daniel. Her father Gilbert Sanchez, sisters Regina Sanchez, Jenny Reyes, Yolanda Sanchez and brother Michael Sanchez. Nephews Gilbert Sanchez, Isaac Sanchez and Angel Reyes, nieces Veronica Reyes and Stephanie Sanchez. Her best friends Annette Pimentel and Victor Garcia Jr. Closet cousins; Sonia Flores, Vanessa Bustamante and Illene Bustamante, Jessica Sanchez, Janni Mancha and April Montoya. As well as many aunts' uncles' cousins and friends. Services for Denise will be held at Our Lady of Purification in the Village of Dona Ana 5525 Cristo De Rey, Friday April 28th, 2023. Visitation will begin at 9am, rosary at 10 am and mass to follow. Pall Bearers will be Angel Reyes, Gilbert Sanchez, Isaac Sanchez, Jose "JP" Pineda, Victor "JR" Garcia and Cesar Casillas.
