Dean Stoneman Dr.

Dr. Dean L. Stoneman, age 78, died June 8th, 2015 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He passed peacefully surrounded by family. He was born February 14th, 1937 in Lincoln, Nebraska and he lived most of his life in New Mexico. Dean was a United States Air Force officer who reached the rank of Captain. Later he enjoyed a career as a soil scientist and was often called as an expert witness in water rights cases. Dr. Stoneman loved karate, ballroom dancing and any outdoor activities. He is survived by the love of his life, Janet Perkins, his three daughters, Laurel Irwin-Atchison, Teri Stoneman and Lesley Carlon; 4 grandkids and also his loving sister Anne Hruby and her husband (Dean's good friend) Milo Hruby.
