Davin Drue Self
March 25, 1959 — February 22, 2022
It is with much sorrow we announce the passing of Davin D. Self, 62, on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. He was an incredible craftsman, a journeyman electrician and prided himself on always thinking through a problem and creatively finding a solution, he always welcomed a challenge. He will be greatly missed by all whose hearts he touched with love and selflessness. Davin leaves behind brothers Kevin Self (Laura) and Evan Self; Children Dustin Self (Sterling), Tiffany Selrick (Lauren); longtime partner Leann Maitland and 3 grandchildren. Davin started a lasting friendship with best friend (brother) Mariano Madrid early in life as well as the many other friends over the years he opened his heart too. He is preceded in death by his father H. Drue Self and Mother Mariellen Self Patrick. A Memorial Service is scheduled at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E.
