David Everette Steen

David Everette Steen, 67, of Las Cruces, passed away suddenly on Saturday July 7, 2007. David was born on October 30, 1939 to Mary and Lawrence Steen. He grew up and lived in El Dorado, Texas. David received his bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University and a master's degree in economics from the University of Mexico in Mexico City. Mr. Steen was an independent investor that traveled and lived in many interesting places during his life. David touched many lives with his loving spirit and charitable nature. Mr. Steen is survived by his partner Jeff Goacher, his cousin Margaret Reese and her children Michael Reese, Janise Simmons, and Don Reese. There will be a visitation at Getz Funeral Home on Friday July 13, 2007 from 5pm to 7pm. There will be a celebration of his life at the Unity Church of Las Cruces at a later date. Mr. Steen will be interred in El Dorado, Texas by his parents. PDF Printable Version
