Daniel Joseph Williams (Joey) – 64 

Daniel Joseph Williams, known to family and friends as Joey, passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 64. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

 Born on August 8,1960 in Las Cruces NM, To James and Charlene Williams. Joey was a man of great warmth, humor, and generosity, known for his infectious smile and willingness to lend a hand to those in need. His passion for cars, Nascar, football, music, and his pets was a defining part of his life, and he shared that passion with everyone around him. 

 Joey was a devoted family man, whose greatest pride was his children and grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent with them, and his legacy will live on through the love and lessons he imparted. He is survived by his Father James V. Williams 2 sisters Susan and JoAnne 2 Brothers Donny and Jimbo, his children Daughter Franque, Son Joey and Daughter Ashley, and his 8 grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

 In addition to his family, Joey leaves behind many close friends who considered him a true companion, and his absence will be felt deeply by the entire community. Whether it was sharing a laugh, offering a word of encouragement, or simply being present, Joey’s kindness and spirit touched the lives of everyone he encountered. 

 A memorial service to celebrate Joey’s life will be held on December 3, 2024, at 10:00 am at Getz Funeral Home in Las Cruces, 1410 E. Bowman, a viewing will be held December 2, 2024 @ 4:00 pm, a graveside service will be immediately following the funeral @ Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fairacres, NM 

 Joey will always be remembered for his love, his laughter, and his unwavering loyalty. May he rest in peace, knowing that his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
