Daniel Medina

Daniel "Danny" Medina, 66 of Las Cruces, NM entered eternal life on Saturday April 25, 2009 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center. He was born November 14, 1942 in Chamberino to Manuel and Elvira Medina. Danny loved cooking for family get-togethers, preparing foods harvested from his garden. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Alicia Medina of the family home, sons Danny Edward and Rachel Medina of Las Cruces, NM, Ralph and Polly Ortiz of Dona Ana, NM, Elpidio and Juana Ortiz of Las Cruces, NM, Louis Ortiz of Vernall, UT and Jesus Rodriguez of Clarksville, AR, daughters Hilda and Leroy Vigil of Las Cruces, NM, Anna and Roy Contreras of San Miguel, NM, brothers Abel and Gloria Medina of Tempe, AZ Robert "Bobby" and Elisa Of San Miguel, NM, Jaime and Lettie Medina of Las Cruces, NM, sisters Belia Diaz of Avondale, AZ, Mina and Raymond Bustamante of Dona Ana, NM and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and love him. His father and Great-Grandson Maximus Sanchez preceded Danny in death. A visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Wednesday April 29, 2009 at Getz Funeral Home where a rosary will follow at 7 PM. Danny's Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 pm Thursday April 30, 2009 at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church with the Fathers of the Augustinian Recollects, officiating. Rite of Committal will follow at Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Ortiz, Kevin Rodriguez, Ismael Rodriguez, Josh Ortiz, Jerry Martinez Jr., Michael Baldonado PDF Printable Version
