Curtis L Kinney

Curtis L. Kinney, 66, of Las Cruces, New Mexico passed away on February 12, 2021. Curt was a graduate of Mayfield High School (1972) and joined the United States Air Force upon graduation. Curtis is survived by his wife Lana. He is also survived by his siblings: Jay Kinney and wife Rachel of Charlottesville, VA; Carol Kinney Perry and Teryl Kinney Beck and husband Rick, all of Las Cruces. In addition, he was a brother-in-law, son in law, uncle, and great uncle to an extensive family. Curt loved animals, especially all the dogs and cats that were part of their family over the years. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan as well as a music enthusiast. He was particularly fond of a line from the Righteous Brothers song "Rock & Roll Heaven" which goes as follows: "If there's a rock n' roll heaven, well you know they've got a hell of a band." His family hopes that they are playing that song for him now. Curtis will be loved and missed by not only his family, but also by the many friends he made throughout his lifetime.
