Connie Collier

Connie Collier was born in Hobbs, NM on January 18, 1938 to James and Mayme Ham. She loved life and family, she enjoyed fishing, hunting, sewing and laughing with her family. Connie is survived by her daughter, Vicki Baker and husband Bob of Mohomet, IL; her son Richard (Hoot) Collier of Las Cruces, NM; five grandchildren: Dawn Peters, Marie Baker, Robin Baker, Erik Kurtz and Josh Collier; ten great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren with another on the way. Connie is proceeded in death by her loving husband, Albert Collier; her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Connie was a fierce and loving protector of her entire immediate and extended family. Her love and lessons taught to her many children, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and the many children she helped raise will survive for many generations to come. The family sends a special thanks to Enhabit Hospice for their excellent care and compassion during the final week of Connie's complete and full life.
