Christopher Javier Navarro

Our beloved son, Christopher (Chris) Javier Navarro became an angel on April 28, 2018. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on March 23, 1995 and moved to Las Cruces at the age of 4. He was the son of Rudy S. and Eva S. Navarro. He has one brother, Rudy M. Navarro (Janell) of Gilbert Arizona. Chris was a member of St. Albert the Great Newman Center. Chris graduated from Onate High School and was planning on continuing his education next semester at Dona Ana Community College. He loved rapping and Hip Hop and aspired of creating his own production company to record rap and Hip Hop. Chris always felt that his greatest accomplishment in life was his daughter, Dorothy, whom he loved very much. His greatest joy was to make her laugh. He was also proud of being a graduate of Onate High School. Chris is survived by his daughter, Dorothy A. Navarro; his parents Rudy and Eva Navarro; brother Rudy M. Navarro (Janell); and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jesus and Amada Navarro, and Maternal grandparents, Manuel and Francisca Sanchez. Visitation will be 5 pm to 7 pm Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Getz Funeral Home, with a rosary to follow at 7 pm. Mass will be on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 10 am at St. Albert the Great Newman Center. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Christopher's name to NAMI Dona Ana County, PO Box 2556, Las Cruces, NM 88004 would be appreciated. At the family's request cremation and internment of remains will take place at a later date. Pall Bearers are Rudy M.
