Christopher Brooks Keyes

Christopher "Chris" Brooks Keyes, 31, of Las Cruces, NM died July 12, 2012. Chris was born July 21, 1980 in Roanoke, Virginia to Alison Macchia and Edwin Plunkett. He honorably served in the United States Army. He enjoyed history, reading, and spending time with family. He was a good friend, loving person, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Chris is survived by his mother Alison Keyes and adoptive father Michael Keyes; uncle, David Macchia of TX; aunt, Laura Oldham of TX; brother, Nathaniel Keyes of TX; step-brother, Doug Keyes of WA, and step-sisters Jennifer Vishneski of VA, and Margo Heick of CO. He was preceded in death by his biological father, Edwin Plunkett; uncle, Mitchell Macchia; and grand-parents Angelo and Barbara Macchia. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 1 to 2 PM followed by a funeral service at 2 PM at Getz Funeral Home with Fr. Tom Smith officiating. PDF Printable Version
