Christina D Williams-Rivera

It is with great sadness, that the family of Christina Dawn Williams-Rivera, announce her passing, after a long battle with breast cancer on January 31, 2018 at the age of 49. Christina was born on December 17, 1968 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She graduated with honors from Parkersburg South High School in 1987. She went to attend West Virginia University to study pharmacy and graduated with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy in 1991. Christina was a very compassionate and giving person who had an open and loving heart to all those around her. She was always there to help those in need and will always be in our hearts. Christina will be lovingly missed by her husband of 14 years, Andre Rivera, her children Morgan and Wyatt Williams, step-children, Andre Rivera, Jr., McKenna and Maya Rivera, and her parents, Joseph and Nancy Somerville. Funeral Services in memory of Christina, will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Getz Funeral Home. Viewing will begin at 9 am, followed by a chapel services at 10:30 am, with Dr. Bob Donohue officiating. In lieu of flowers, Christina's family requests that donations be made to Castingforrecovery.org. Christina attended this retreat during her battle with cancer and it impacted her greatly.
