Chelsea loved all dogs and all dogs loved Chelsea. She would stop traffic to rescue a dog. Chelsea also adopted a rescue Boxer mix (Kindle Lee) and another rescue Shepherd mix (Maggie Lou). Everyone who knew Chelsea was aware of her passion for all fur babies. She served on the board of the Dona Ana County Humane Society and always enjoyed the Yappy Hour events.
Chelsea enjoyed trying new adventures. She loved hiking, camping, paddle boarding, zip-lining, listening and dancing to country music, cooking and eating healthy, exercising in several different formats, and traveling. Her first big trip was to New York to march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with the Mayfield High School Marching Band in 2004. Another big highlight was a cruise to Alaska. She traveled around to other states, visiting family and friends.
