Charles Daniel 'Charlie' Brown

Charles "Charlie "Brown was born on August 22,1931 in Homer, Michigan. After high school, he joined the US Air Force where he served until January 1,1977. His tours in- cluded Selfridge Air Force Base in Michigan and Grand Forks, North Dakota, The Phillipines, and Germany. After retiring Charlie moved to Las Cruces with his second wife, Erna "Anne Brown, (who passed in 2011). He then worked at White Sands and the Social Security office. Charlie was an avid golfer making three hole-in-ones. He played every day, and enjoyed many rounds with his friends. Upon moving to Soltice, he met Colleen Blackman. Charlie spent the last six years enjoying her company and love. He liked living at Soltice. They enjoyed meeting his golfing buddies and wives every Friday at the golf club course at NMSU.
